In 2024, SeaChange was started by a mother-daughter duo in Middletown, Rhode Island, with a focused mission to help bring change and awareness to our beautiful community. What started off as a community volunteer organization, grew and expanded into combining our love for our community, with a passion for retail.

Our SeaChange retail storefront in downtown Newport, Rhode Island opened later that year, and is a big part of our mission for change. At our store, we are focused on carrying quality items at affordable prices from small businesses, local artists, and entrepreneurs.

We continue to work towards our goal of sourcing 100% of our items from all small businesses.

At SeaChange, we strive to continue our mission of giving back, with a percentage of our proceeds going back into our community through donation drives, beach cleanups, sponsorships for non-profit organizations, and more.

We are so thankful and grateful for everyone who has supported us, our customers, and to all who are helping be the change we want to “sea” in our community.
